In a collaboration lasting several days in Novi Sad, Belorukov&Zlanabitnig explored the acoustic and electronic sound combinations of their instruments as well as ambiental sounds and field recordings in the immediate surroundings of the city. Ilia and Sara integrated their sounds into the spaces in which they were played in, be it the studio_kuda.org, the museum acoustics or the Peace Chapel. The musicians developed different approaches through a common language of free improvised music in real time. After the recording sessions, they selected material to work with and created five multi-layered, multi-dimensional pieces.
